Tell ya the truth, build new wheels and maybe change the crankset. That bike already has the absolute best working, most wonderfully engineered parts that were available in the year it was made, bar none.

You can send me the drivetrain and shifters if you don't want them!

I might change to a pair of aero levers, they were available in the early-mid 80's.
