Thanks for taking the time to respond. I called the shop today and they still say sram is backlogged; however, they do have a set in stock and will replace mine with that and ask sram to reimburse them. I asked if it was a new set of brakes and was informed it was. Then asked them why they didnt do that in the first place and basically didnt get a response. Still, at least my brakes will be fixed.
