I just installed an Axiom Journey on my son's Jamis Coda Sport. It is the regular Journey, not the "disc" model. I also put an Odysee on my hardtail MTB (V brakes, not disk). The racks look well-made, welds appear to be decent, and the weight rating (70kg) appears to be legit for a momentary static load (me) - I wouldn't put anywhere near that weight on it for a real ride. The versa-lock system is pretty flexible for getting the rack aft - the pannier mount points are noticably further aft than with my old Trek rack, and I no longer have a problem with heel strike using Performance Transit Pros. (I have some new panniers on order, follow-up after they arrive).

The racks have a 10mm diameter rod, so panniers with small hooks for 8mm rods may not fit. Also, I noticed on the odysee that the bottom part of the rack is relatively closer to the top than on my old rack. Panniers that use some sort of an s-hook on a bungee or adjustable strap (Performance) may be too tall for this. The Odysee has a bottom attachment point on the adjustable bottom mounts of the rack that was barely the right height. The Journey is taller and I think would be OK. I think better panniers that use a different attachment mecahnism should be OK.

I bought my racks on-line from aebike.com. Excellent prices and good shipment (UPS ground and they email you the tracking info when the order ships). They do not list the Axiom Journey disc in the catalog, but I'd email and ask - they can probably get it if they do not stock it.
