I am trying to install the Velo 05 computer. I'm trying to figure out were on the fork the sensor can be attached and still be within 5 mm from the magnet. The outside of the fork is too far away, it appear the side of the fork is also still too far away. I can not install on the inside of the fork because it then hits the magnet as it goes by. Am I out of luck? I really don't think it should be this complicated. Anyone have any suggestions?

Slide it higher so it doesn't hit the magnet.
In case you're wondering, it doesn't matter at all how far away from the hub you put the magnet and sensor. The only thing it's counting is wheel revolutions. Provided you found a way to make them pass close enough to each other, you could put them as far out as the wheel rim itself and you'll still get the same speed readings.
