I effin hate bike thieves! I have had 3 bikes stolen in one year, 2 were ****ty beach cruisers, locked with a thin cable, they were taken while I was surfing. About 5 years ago I made a fixie/single speed conversion, anyways that got stolen too, at 5pm in downtown Huntington Beach, it was locked with a thick cable, it was a 62cm, that's how I found this forum, because now I need to buy a new one and it's not as easy to find a cool old road bike on cl and convert anymore....still pissed, ps if anyone has any suggestions on a good bike lemme know, currently looking at a speacialized langster, built how I like for 600, also an IRO, the thing I liked about the conversion is the bike was made in italy, I really don't want a bike made in china but I guess china or taiwan are my only choices, if anyone can reccomend a good one for about 600 (or hopefully less) I'd appreciate it
