Did a LOT of selling, donating, giving away, etc. to get down to a more manageable collection of bikes (still with lots of parts, wheels, etc. in storage). With my girlfriend riding more now (yay), she's got three bikes, and I live in a smaller place than I did before I moved recently, so several bikes/frames had to go. Here's what I've got:
track racing bike
mtb racing bike, geared 1x6
cx racing bike, single speed
road racing/training bike, geared 2x10
touring bike, geared 3x9
fixed road/rain bike
commuter/bar bike, single speed
My touring bike is a Karate Monkey, running gears, racks, fenders, etc. It used to be my single speed mtb, so I'll be building up a new ss 29er withing the next year or so, when I get bored only riding/racing on my geared mtb. Probably another Karate Monkey, or maybe a Salsa El Mariachi or Vassago Jabberwocky. Also, I work weekends at a shop that is a Trek dealer, and the Trek Earl looks like it could be a fun, super cheap (yay EP) ss beater, so I might end up getting one and leaving it at the shop for beer runs, pub crawls, etc. Otherwise, I'm pretty satisfied with my bikes.
