Fork checklist:
1. same diameter steerer
2. threaded / threadless - must match headset
3. same brake mounts
4. long enough steerer tube, and for threaded, enough of a threaded area if you're going to cut fork down.
Don't forget same or similar axle to crown dimension on fork.
