Google stem length. You will find a lot of advice on the topic, how to measure to fit you. Really doesn't matter what length came with the bike, it may well have not been a good fit for you. Work with a good bike shop, they may well have a trade program where you can try out a couple of sizes without spending extra money on the swap.

Its not really about the Shogun, its about what fits you.
