I think Selle Italia produced the basic Trubo saddle maybe in the early nineties but during it's later production run and after they quit making the plain Turbo saddle, they came out with all sorts of variants based on it with differing gel padding rail support "shock systems", lycra covering (Turbo Hinault, Turbo SLG, Turbo Special, Turbo Matic, Turbo Gel....etc...) and even the most unusual "Forced Ventilation" model that had holes on the plastic base that goes through the badding and out on the saddle covering. A couple of these were on sale at ebay, NOS. Thought of buying one, but just couldn't make up my mind if having one on my 80's bikes would be "cool"......
Selle Italia did resume making the Turbo saddle about a year and a half ago with Lorica (synthetic leather) and lycra(?) covers. They go for pretty cheap at 70 bucks typically at eBay. Unfortuantely, it did pull down the value of "real" NOS Turbos, that were going for well over $100 just about a year ago.
