Check out "Kool Stop" brake pads and holders. They have been supplying cyclists with good performing, dependable replacement brake pads forever. They must have a model that will fit the Diacompes nicely. And I don't think they only come in that garish salmon color only like they used to.

BTW, I agree with the recommendation on wraping your bars with white padded tape. It will match your white turbo very nicely and will be "period correct". Lots of choices for tapes but I prefer Cinelli "cork" tape on my 80's bikes....in white, of course.
