Don't really know why I just got this feeling that I didn't want the bike. Ended up settling for something that was probably lower quality with stem shifters that I've ended up spending more to make similar to that one I passed on, so I came to regret my decision. Sorry random CL flipper out there wherever you are...
I don't see anything wrong with that at all. You called him back after you changed your mind.
I had one 'too cool for school' guy show up with his girlfriend, make a 'shocked' look at me after I told him I was asking 100 bucks (the price was in the ad he responded to) for a 1954 Raleigh with new michelin (read: 19 bucks a pop) tires, and told me 'oh I just have one more bike to look at then I'll call you and let you know.'
Never heard from him again, despite a polite email from me asking if he was still interested.
now that's rude..
