As to the OP, I probably would not offer her a refund for the bike because I agree that it's an unspoken rule: Craigslist is not a store, there's no warranty implied and no return policy. If you don't like what you bought, turn around and sell it yourself or accept the consequences. If you really want to be nice and think you could sell it again easily, you could offer her a refund, but no money back.
