I thought I would add to this again with a story from my local Jeep board. One of the members posted that he had sold a car on Craigslist and the seller contacted him a month later stating the car had several issues and he wanted them all repaired on the seller's dime. He actually took it to small claims court and WON! The judge awarded him a portion of the money for the repairs even though the guy sold it as a used car and never expressed or implied any sort of warranty. I was absolutely floored that this happened since I have sold more than 30 cars over the years and I am sure some of them had issues that were unknown at the time of sale to me like this case. Crazy.
