The name is not important to me but I did have concerns about getting the sizing correct. However on looking closer, it's just the frame size that is "non adjustable" and that would seem to be a simple measurement. All the other fittings are simply adjustments or at the most, exchange of certain items - seat post etc. and I could fine tune those over a period of time or get a proper fitting at lbs. Or is this too simplistic ? is there more to fitting than this. I'm not talking fitting a bike for competition here - just casual riding for fitness and pleasure.
Effective or virtual top tube is usually the most important measurement in fitting a frame. If you used several of the online calculators, e.g. competitive cyclist, you'd likely get the right size frame or one that is a size too small or too large. usually adjustments can be made with seatpost and stem to make it work. I didn't use any calculators and ended up one size too big.
