But, again, it's only as intense as you make it. So what if you can't do "plyometric pushups" and launch yourself off the floor twenty times in a row -- do like I do and push up from your knees just quickly enough to manage a feeble hand clap.
Couldn't have said it better. Too intense?? It boggles me that the same people who will call you out and say ride more will be the same ones calling this too intense. Yeah it's ridiculously frustrating for the first 90 days because you're straining to get 25 pushups the second time around and they're on screen rocking out 40. Like they say during the workouts...do what you can and try to get better every time. It holds true in cycling, why not for this?

And to those that question the impact of the workouts on your riding ability, just try it.
