I use the magenta, red, and green weight bands but it would be nice to have a heavier one when doing arms. I also do have 2 sets of weights (5 lb & 10lb) bought at Target. Will prob get another 15 or 20. Weights are great for some of the shoulder exercises and for adding some extra weight during legs and back.
Couldn't you just have a bigger loop in the band to increase the resistance? I don't use the bands so I really don't know. I have them though, so may give them a shot.
