Keeping in mind that I don't "train" for any goals on my bike, I just ride, often commuting to work or around town --

I didn't see a problem doing both. Yeah, my biking was harder after doing plyo or one of the legs workouts, but that's just how it goes. If I need to save up and recover strength for a particular reason, I just do less.
