Out of curiosity for those of you who do the program how does your workout schedule look for the week while including cycling? Are you doing 2 workouts a day for the cycling days? I'm trying to determine what a good schedule would be that allows me to do most of the workouts without having to put in 2+ hours a day and allowing at least a day of rest after working each muscle group... Ideas?
Like Barrack I don't really train for a "goal" in cycling, I just ride for the sport and figure I'll improve along the way. I do however ride hard when I get the chance. My week consists of P90x Mon, ride Tues, P90x Wednes (or Thurs depending), ride Thurs, P90x Fri, ride on Sat, and recover on Sun. I've been doing some co-ed dodgeball and kickball to mix things up with my girl, so Wednes and Thurs sometimes change depending on that. I've never really tried to do P90x and a ride all in the same day mostly due to time, just don't have it. Compared to when I rode before starting P90x I've definitely seen huge gains in my riding and climbing abilities. The plyo dvd and the legs and back dvd seriously put a hurtin on you.
