Need help ID'ing this frame. . .

Hi There,

I've been content calling this my "mystery frame" bike for the past few years since acquiring it off SF CL, but my curiousity is still there--especially now since I'm thinking of stripping the frame of its SunTour Superb Pro parts and putting them on another frame. I was told by the previous owner that--after he did some research--he was informed that this was a Sekai 5000. Frankly, I doubt that, based on my own research.

Still, it is a nice frame, and rides well. Obviously, this has been repainted (one of my favorite colors, BTW), is chrome underneath, has SunTour dropouts. . . Probably all parts have been added--I have to credit myself with some of this. . . Any opinions on what this is? Thanks!
