So, "what the hell" were you thinking? You were thinking that you were looking forward to a year of TT practice on painful, endless climbs. And to a year of running hill sprints, long descents (for running form of course), and "gently rolling" hills on your LSD runs.

I think it's a great decision, because this high level of pain is going to do pretty remarkable things for your fitness and abilities.
