Yes I totally agree that the main intention for me to buy the bike is to have fun riding it...and while I can appreciate that everyone has different opinions, for me to personally spend $5K for a bike and only riding it on the weekend sounds ridiculous.
And for others of us spending $5k on a bike as a commuter knowing how commuting beats them up is a bit over the top
While I have 2 bikes in that price range that I occasionally ride in on, they're not the *only* bikes I own. I generally consider them on the days I feel like commuting in driving a Bugatti Veyron
