I have two cases (100 total) of decent utility-grade 1/8" bike chains that I found in SOMA.
The best suggestion of what to do with them came from the nice folks at Freewheel Cyclery which is to donate them to a non-profit for use in the developing world.
They weigh 27 Kg each so they will need to be picked up.
