Just the thread I was looking for.

Some friends of mine are going to be homeless for the last week june, and ride from philly to the shore, and trek it up and down the coast, sleeping where we can. Being as this is our first real long trip, I was wondering a couple things. I'm sure there is something I am over-looking so what do I ABSOLUTELY need to bring? Tubes, tools, etc. I just want to make sure that I have it all.

Second, I was thinking about buying a handlebar bag, but from what I hear most are crap (without the out european front racks) and I am not sure how they would string on my bull horns ... any advice?
