so your solution is basically for me to go buy a bunch of cogs till i find one that fits? No thanks, I'd like something standard if you don't mind.

I actually tried to grind a DA cog down today, so that more lockring threads would engage, and ended up with a DA cog that was too short, and needs a spacer.

But all that aside, there's no reason that these things shouldn't fit together. I'll see what phil has to say tomorrow, but all in all it has been a sh*tty experience.
