this year my n+1 collection ended me up with 3 bikes:
- a Felt F3SL with Rival
- a Masi Specaile with 105/Ultegra
- and, unexpectedly, a Felt AR1 frameset from my fiancee as an engagement present.

i rode the F3SL all year, put about 3000 miles on it. love it to death, having 2 carbon Felts is kinda gluttonous.
I never liked using Shimano - so the Masi's components should go. I'm a SRAM.
Also - the Masi came set up a little too soft for my tastes - white cork tape, white cable housings, etc.

So this is what i'm in the middle of:

turns out the Masi's BB is GXP, so the Rival group should transfer over easily.

i disassembled the F3SL frameset, cleaned all the parts completely, and put the frameset up on craigslist.

next step is to disassemble the Masi and transfer the Rival to it. I'm going to rebuild it with my newly-cleaned Rival, throw on a Nashbar carbon fork, black cables and black fixik tape. goal is to make it a (cheap) steel racer.

then the 105 group will go up for sale.

i'm very excited for this. then in the spring, we will all go on bike rides together and get ice cream cones and nobody's ice cream will fall onto the ground, I PROMISE.
