I WON'T drop below 180, that's for sure. Below that is not my personal ideal weight). Never say never.
  • Set up a "riding" soundtrack to ride to. try riding without music, it isn't bad at all especially in NYC where what you're able to hear around you is just as important as what you see
  • Do my 1st Century (outrageous for me). once you can ride 50 miles at a good clip 100 won't seem so daunting.
  • Improve significantly with me 2nd Century. see above
  • 500 miles of riding a month (once we get past winter's un-rideable months). No such thing unless we're buried in snow the entire winter
  • 1 Week Cycling Related Vacation (either Road or MTB). good idea
  • Build an Über Bike (full plastic sensation in @ low 15lb range). You're better served dropping an extra 15lbs than getting a lighter bike
  • Increase my average mph to high teens. This can be very misleading.
  • Set-up a home shop. Not necessary for most repairs. I built up my bike without a home shop, but if go for it if that's what you want
  • Get fully geared up for cycling.good gear for the winter helps, for the summer not so much
  • Become a competitive amateur rider.
  • Enter and complete a Road Race.
  • Develop healthy eating habits.
  • Ride Broadway (NYC) from the north to the south non-stop as fast as I can.
(Okay, maybe just one stop for a pair of Papaya Gray's Hot Dogs! ). while fun it's a lot of stop and go if you're looking to get a nice ride in
  • Take advantage of every good riding day I can.yep

Pretty boring for the most part, but I had to express it somewhere so that it's
out there floating around for me to return to and I'm not much of a blogger.
This is stuff I wanted to do this past year, but big career changes put a halt to that.

Any advice is greatly appreciated and flaming will be dealt with accordingly!
