It is also a wiser investment to purchase separate parts that you know are solid and durable rather than being forced to deal with whatever came with the bike. I seriously think if you saved another 200 on top of the 500 or 600 you end up spending, you can build up a killer track bike. I need to start that "kits you can build for $____" thread.
