I got some much-needed cash to be put towards the purchase of a Surly Long Haul Trucker frame. Combined w/ a little I have from my bike commuting budget and a little creative accounting, I think I may be ordering that frame quite soon now!

My wife's gift for me took the form of a Groupon to an LBS that can be put towards a bike or accessories. Unfortunately they do not order Surly, I have since found out, but I need to buy some parts for the LHT build, so I hope to apply the Groupon to that effort.

Those are the brakes I have in mind for my Surly LHT build, if not right away then soon.
