My gift items are all for my comfort bike turned commuter Schwinn Sierra GS:

I was able to get the seat early because my stock seat was causing numbness when riding long distances.

I used Christmas money to buy:

Nashbar silver aluminum flat handle bars (to replace my black steel flat bars that were scratched up when I put them on)
Sram X-3 trigger shifters
Shimano 13-28 freewheel (still looking for a coveted, but discontinued 11-28 freewheel)
Sram Powerlink chain (I didn't want to use the old chain with the new freewheel)
A decent lock (any suggestions?)
