Need a felt helmet pad - any DIY fixes?

My trusty 3 year old bike helmet is doing well, but on a ride today, I managed to lose one of the felt pads that lines the top/forehead area. (GIRO helmet.)

Unfortunately, now I've got 3 sharp velcro-lined regions scraping my forehead where the felt used to cover.

I lost the accessory felt pads quite awhile back during multiple moves.

Any solutions / DIY ideas to replace the felt?
