I used the VO Elk hide bar wrap. I took the advice of several posts and wrapped the bars with velox cloth tape first, and I like the aesthetic as well as the feel. The leather sits firmly with no twisting, and the underwrap gives a slightly larger diameter (which I prefer).
I treated the bar grips with proofide after installation.
