Congrats on the build, Canyoneagle! Not at all what I was expecting when I saw the pics of the frame at the time of purchase. I really like what you've done with the bike, and I think you've done the Marinoni company proud. I did a double-take on the hide grips; I assumed it was Brooks bar tape. Where did you source the grips from?
Again, nice job!

I used the VO Elk hide bar wrap. I took the advice of several posts and wrapped the bars with velox cloth tape first, and I like the aesthetic as well as the feel. The leather sits firmly with no twisting, and the underwrap gives a slightly larger diameter (which I prefer).
I treated the bar grips with proofide after installation.
