Not too concerned about Grad school costs.....
Three daughters here and they've all gone through private schools from pre-school all the way through High school. It cost us a pretty penny but the self discipline they learned and the education they received were worth the cost. We chose this education route because our public schools are not quite up to par though our public school system does take great pride in it's 45% high school graduation rate.
All three have gone on to college, working their way through along with some assistance from us and with the understanding that once they had earned their Bachelors degree's they would be financially responsible for their own futures. One has graduated from R.I.T. with Highest Honors and is now a Model Design Engineer for a major aerospace company, one will graduate from M.S.O.E. in May and has a letter of intent from an Arcitechural firm in Chicago, and the third has graduated with Highest Honors from SUNY Albany.
The Albany grad is currently enrolled at Pratt as a Graduate Student.
All three are better prepared to survive in this world than I ever dreamt of being. Our job is done, financially. Now we just survive and enjoy and offer advice if asked.
