Bikes: Some bikes. Hell, they're all the same, ain't they?

Yeah it's ridiculously frustrating for the first 90 days because you're straining to get 25 pushups the second time around and they're on screen rocking out 40. Like they say during the workouts...do what you can and try to get better every time. It holds true in cycling, why not for this?
Just like Tony says partway through the Legs & Back session (it was on my schedule last week; this was during alternating side lunges) --

"It doesn't have to be pretty, you might stumble a little bit, that's perfectly fine, don't worry about that. Just do your best and forget the rest."

Or another video where he goes, "You see him? He couldn't do what he just did on day 1, day 5, day 10, or even day 20."

The way I see it, if you think it's too intense -- like you see them curling with 40 lbs and that's just too damn heavy -- just pick another weight. Don't lunge so deep, don't bother trying to get fifty pushups if you can only manage ten. Do what you can as long as you're working hard to get it.

I'm starting it again after too many weeks off, and I need it. It's a good program, even the warmups and stretches at the beginning of each session. I'll probably be doing a P90X-Insanity hybrid, too, either this time through or the next. My wife's walking DVDs (low-impact aerobics) aren't quite enough for me at this point.
