Just be aware that the chome under the paint is often not as pretty as chrome that it meant to be exposed. Manufacturers typically do not waste the time to highly the polish the tubes, if they are to covered by paint after chroming.
The forks and 3/4 of the chainstay were exposed Chrome as standard and the frame looks exactly the same and very polished.
