I think the Mini Metro is too small. I use my bag for school and groceries. $140 for a Citizen might seem steep (especially as a student), but deals can be had.

I personally dislike Timbuk2s. I don't like the strap system, the bags don't hold very much, and they are extremely uncomfortable with heavy loads. YMMV.
