Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I recall reading a post from Scrod about how he disliked trying his friend's Chrome for this reason (correct me if I'm wrong, Scrod). Pretty sure Scrod sports a Timbuk2.

If you pack the Citizen wisely, it's no problem.
I "solved" this problem by inserting a rigid backing into it. It's a monitor hood from an old LaCie CRT. Now irregular objects don't poke my back.

$160 for a Chrome bag is cheap when you consider that it will last for a while. Say you use it every other day for 5 years straight. That comes out to .18 cents per day. Chump change.
