My wife and I had this happen to us once. My wife was about 20' behind meriding about 3 or 4 mph since we were on the side walk. A courier decided to use us as a slalom course. Well I saw him just lightly graze my wife (putting me in danger is one thing, my wife and/or daughter is another). As he came around me on the right, my elbow some how hit his front brake lever (no one else was on the sidewalk at the time). I am sure he was cleaning the pebbles out of his arm for some time. He even appologized for riding so close.
