Liong (see post #157 above) did his on an MTB, presumably with studded tires; see his post.

My Xtracycle has 2.25" cruiser tires on it. Very comfortable. I'm not doing a century on it, though. Well, if you will, I will. Mine has a Nuvinci hub! But it's not C&V. I don't think there's a single vintage part on it.

Sunday it's supposed to be up over freezing. I hope to get out for some kind of a ride; whether a century or not, remains to be determined. Brian, are you free Sunday?
