The LBS that carry Cannondale don't stock all 3 of these, so I haven't been able to ride them all yet. They either carry the Quick 4 or they carry the Bad Boy (so it seems). I've been to a few bike stores to test ride others already, but wanted to understand the different uses of them. I already rode the 2010 Quick 4 (but didn't like it because of the SRAM components), the 2011 has shimano. I'd compare these Cannondales to the 2011 Trek 7.3 and the 2011 Specialized Sirrus Elite.

I'm looking for a bike that I can ride on paved roads, a little dirt paths, etc. To me (a newbie) they seem pretty similiar, is the Quick more geared towards a road bike and the others offer more flexibility? just not sure what the major differences are. I would have to go about 1 hour away to test ride the Bad Boy and CX4.

There is quite a lot of difference in frame geometry in the Quick 4, and the Quick CX4. I compared a large to a large, and almost
everything is different. And components also, I went as far as printing out the specs, and geometry on both. I will post a link
for both, so you can view them for yourself. I could not seem to find enough info on the ( 2010 ) Bad Boy to be of much help,
only the 2011 model. Just from what I am looking at, I would have to say the Quick 4 was desighned more for the road, and the
Quick CX4 for the road and trails, But I do not understand Cannondales thinking on the gearing for the Quick 4, same as the other,
basically MTB gearing 11-32 rear, and standard 28 38 48 front. You would think with the more road style aggressive geometry,
and the wheel set, they would have went with more road friendly gearing ? Not the same as on my Giant MTB, except the front
chain rings which are 22 32 42. I really do not know your riding style, but just from looking at them on paper, I like the Quick
CX4 better, seems more versatile. Sorry I could not be of more help, I do own bikes with both style Tektro brakes, and can tell
you they both work well, but prefer the disk, due to I ride off road a lot, and the rim brakes do not do not work well in the mud. ( LOL )
