Overall, the components on the Quick seem to be better than the bad boy as well.
With the little knowledge that I have I would have thought the Quick 4 would have been better off road - wider tires.
The difference in tire size would not even be noticeable 700 x 38c verse 700 x 37c and depending on the tire maker, the 37c
might even be wider. As far as the rear DR, I have both also on to diffent bikes, there both low end entry level and the
difference is not even noticeably, they both shift well. Carbon forks on the Quick 4, and Fatty Rigid on the CX, the wheel set on the Quick 4 low spoke count verses the CX wheels more, so they are probably lighter, but weaker.compare the 2 bikes with a Cannondale XC racer, wheelbase length, standover height, etc..I will post a link to one. If you could
get past the Sram thing, here is a much better bike for the buck, same price range, I personally like Sram just as well.
The Giant Roam 1 ( 2011 ), disk brakes, lockout front suspension, 700 x 40c Kendra Kwicks, I have rode this bike and it
is fast on the road with the lockout front suspension, and great off road, a lot of bike for the money. I also would take the time
to go and ride the other ones even though it is an hour drive, my closest bike shop is 1 hour away one direction, I know the feeling.
