I will be riding alot of street and a little dirt/trail. I am lazy and do not want to have to change tires on wheels when going campong or trail riding so I want a spare set of wheels with tires for the street. What do I need wheels to fit and I suppose I need a new cassette and disks? Any help would be greatly appriciated.
You probably will be happy with the factory set of tires, there Kendra Kwicks, semi slicks with knobs on the side. I have
road that very bike, and with the forks locked out it is fast on the road, You would probably only want a more aggressive
tire if you found yourself doing a lot of hard trail rides. There are so many tire options out there that will fit those rims.
And with the quick release wheels that come on it, all you need are two tire levers, and a pump and 20 minutes and
you can change them to just about anything, that is a lot of bike for the price, and rides ( awesome ), good choice.
I was going to buy one about 4 months ago, but they only had a XL in stock, and I ride a large, almost bought the XL
because I liked it so much, but qsmdc15 talked me out of it because it was to big for me, it was going to take them
till now, almost 4 months to get a large. So I ended up with a Giant Rincon in a large, it really is a MTB with 26"
wheels, but the Roam 1 is a true Hybrid. Richard
