What a coincidence...
I've had a FX 7.5 for 8 months and have put 2500 miles on it. And, I'm ready to upgrade to a road bike. I am looking seriously at the Synapse 3 (Ultregra), along with a Madone 5.2.
I rented a Synapse from the LBS last weekend and put 80 miles on it. It was well worth the $60 to do more than a few circles in the parking lot.
Now I just need to find a Madone to rent.
..but I lost money in my SuperBowl pools.
