I never had this problem with the stock Formula lockring, but I have heard about others having the problem. Get a nice steel lockring for $10-15.
Yup I'm using the proper tools, I'm not the type to try and do something cheaply at the risk of ruining something. I tightened my lockring really really good two days ago and checked it today and it only loosened a little bit. But the thing is I tightened it just as good the first time when it slipped.
At any rate I ordered a DA cog and lockring.
And why is BD commenting on the very first post? ha.
