Here's my orange bike after it's rescue from the dump, repaint and repair:


And here it is in commuting form, fitted with lights, fenders, luggage rack, and a 3-speed hub. I also switched the brakes to traditional cantilevers, since the v-brakes wouldn't fit properly around the fenders. The original triple crankset remains, since the inner and outer chainrings aren't removeable, and the outer one serves as a chainguard in conjunction with the plastic one.



Since taking this photo, I've also inverted the handlebars and swapped the brakes for some better ones.
