I prefer the CCP-22 tool for this, but the CWP-7 is good to.

This is the process need to remove the crank http://www.parktool.com/blog/repair-...e-spindle-type can't imagin how you would damage the BB it you have just been using the tool, hitting it with a hammer in another matter tho.
