SO FRUSTRATED with Crank Puller
I have a POS 2007 Norco Scrambler with a Shimano Tourney TX70 crankset.
BB-UN26 Bottom Bracket.
I am using a Park Tool CWP-7 Crank Puller.
The stupid thing seems to just push against itself when i install the crank puller. The inner bolt hits the crank arm just barely, and pushes on itself.
THIS MAKES NO SENSE!!! THE CRANK PULLER FITS RIGHT THROUGH THE NEW CRANKARM I BOUGHT AND THEY BOTH STATE THE SAME BOTTOM BRACKET IN SHIMANO TECH DOCS. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?
can i just hammer this $#@$@ piece of crap off; I am ready to chuck it at a wall.
I am worried I have already damaged the bottom bracket because of incorrect usage, but we'll see. Please help!

The tool you're using has 2 pushing ends. The large one is for spline drive hollow spindles, and the small one is for square tapers like yours/ You have to disassemble the tool and put it together with the smaller pusher at the threaded end.
Then withdraw it into the body until it's flush. Make sure the spindle bolt is removed and any washer below it, then thread the body onto the crank all the way to the bottom (about 5-6 turns). Once the body is bottomed in the crank, turn the center part to push the spindle out of the crank. Don't be surprised if it takes a decent amount of torque.
I hope this helps.

I prefer the CCP-22 tool for this, but the CWP-7 is good to.
This is the process need to remove the crank https://www.parktool.com/blog/repair-...e-spindle-type can't imagin how you would damage the BB it you have just been using the tool, hitting it with a hammer in another matter tho.

I feel a little silly about this. Turns out who ever installed the crankset tightned the bolt too much and ended up warping the crankset on one side making the crank puller hit the crank pedal before hitting the bottom bracket. Either way it all came down to me not turning hard enough on the wrench.
Next time I won't be so gentle, thanks for your help everyone!
