Did my first sprint tri

Swim was iffy. Definitely need to put more emphasis on that aspect of my training.

Cycle was a dream. Was able to visualize attacks, and be competitive against other riders.

The run was where I gassed. I did a 8 mile run the morning before (Friday, aka yesterday) and deep into the 7th mile I felt some tightness in my left knee (behind in the two major tendons) and that seemed to really slow me down on the run.

I'm giving myself a week off running, but will be doing about 800m repeats on swims 3 times this week just to rehab my knee and probably will keep myself at 100 miles of riding between mountain bike and getting out on the CAAD for pure cadence work.

I definitely will be doing another, with proper tri gear this time. I did the entire race in a traditional bathing suit and it felt awkward.
