This reminds me of an old German Architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. He was known for designing simple buildings but complex in thought. Sleek beautifully finished materials served as the ornamentation themselves. He also designed a very famous chair.
I heard Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and I came running! You'd be surprised at how often the Barcelona Chair pictured shows up in architecture magazines. If only gold Peugeots showed up on CL that often
