I have a friend who uses a wheelchair who looks a bit like that. She is an attorney, has a master's in divinity, and was just awarded a highly regarded national award in regards to the non-profit program she runs for assisting parents with disabilities.. She has a degenerative disease, which will eventually kill her, and which causes the weight gain, and there is really nothing she can do about it.

How easy it is to judge others.
